BCBenefits Provides Free Birth Control Through PRJKT RUBY
PRJKT RUBY has partnered with Bedsider and Power to Decide to create BCBenefits, a new program that can help cover common costs you may face in getting affordable, effective birth control. Bedsider is an online birth control support network operated by Power to Decide, the campaign to prevent unplanned pregnancy. Power to Decide works to ensure that every young person has the power to decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child—increasing their opportunity to pursue the future they want.

BCBenefits is an extension of this mission. BCBenefits exists to help women with low incomes get to appointments to speak with their providers about birth control, free telemedicine appointments, coverage for birth control expenses, childcare during appointments, and help with covering lost wages for taking time off of work to go to an appointment. That’s Where We Come In
PRJKT RUBY makes it easy to get birth control delivered directly to you without having to make an extra trip to the doctor’s office or stand in line at the pharmacy. Once approved, your order will be shipped out same-day or the next day, depending on what time your order was placed.
How It Works

- Step 2: Complete the free online consultation.
- Step 3: Enter your BCBenefits coupon code at checkout and select “Money Order” as the form of payment. Complete checking out to receive 12 full cycles of birth control for free!
- Step 4: Complete the telephone, video, or digital consultation with your doctor. Once your doctor approves your order, you will receive your first 3 cycles of birth control in the mail.(Why only 3 cycles with your first shipment? Because we want to make sure whatever birth control you choose is right for you. If you have any complications while taking your first 3 cycles, please contact us so we can switch you over to a different oral contraceptive for your next 9 cycles.)
- Step 5: Approximately 75 days after your first 3 cycles are shipped, your next 9 cycles will automatically be shipped to you.
